Directors at CFGI will work closely with ‘C-level’ management of Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies. CFGI Directors lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing, developing and managing client relationships, and business development.

Requirements
~1 min read- 12+ years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, consulting, and/or corporate accounting/finance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG, or PwC).
- Experience building and managing relationships with executive stakeholders, including Controllers, CAOs, CFOs, Audit Committees, Boards of Directors, and private equity sponsors.
- Experience leading large accounting, audit, or advisory engagements, including oversight of engagement economics, staffing strategy, quality, and delivery across multiple projects or teams.
- Experience contributing to business development efforts through proposal support, client expansion opportunities, networking, thought leadership, referral generation, and strategic account growth.
- Experience developing leaders, mentoring managers and senior managers, and contributing to hiring, performance management, training, or organizational initiatives.
- Experience advising clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, transaction, regulatory, or operational matters and serving as a trusted advisor during significant business events.
Nice to Have

- Experience with SEC reporting, IPO readiness, registration statements, or public-company financial reporting environments.
- Experience preparing or reviewing technical accounting memoranda and advising on complex accounting matters including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, stock-based compensation, debt/equity transactions, impairments, or consolidations.
- Experience supporting significant transactions including IPOs, carve-outs, spin-offs, M&A transactions, debt offerings, capital raises, or private equity-backed transactions.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Proactive in identifying client needs and developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.
- Highly organized with the ability to lead multiple engagements, teams, and competing priorities
- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
