Safety Coordinator

Plans, directs, and implements the organization's safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident free work environment by performing the following duties personally or through supervisors.

• →Manufacturing experience prefered
• →Ability to work with a senior leadership team.
• →Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees,and vendors.
• →Personal integrity and able to perform all job responsibilities in an ethical and non-discriminatory manner.
• →Ability to retain confidental information.
• →Problem-solving and reasoning ability to collect data, establish, facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• →Excellent oral and written communication skills and can effectively commnicate with all levels within the organization, customers, and corporate officials.
• →Determination and assertiveness to acomplish goals and objectives.

Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivelent from a two-year college or technical school; four to five years related experience and/or training in the housing environment; or equivelent combination of education and experience.

The noise-level in the work environment is usually moderate.
