Change.org is searching for a Social Outreach Associate to help local voices turn their influence into published candidate endorsements on Change.vote, our nonpartisan voter guide, ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. You will report to our Senior Product Marketing Manager, Christina O’Reilly. As a key member of our Change.vote Elections team, you’ll be the human voice of our endorser outreach: sending and personalizing messages, building real relationships, and guiding people to endorse the candidates they believe in so their neighbors can vote the whole ballot with confidence.
Every day, local voices on TikTok and other social platforms are already talking about the races and issues shaping their communities: housing, schools, public safety, the cost of living. Your job is to reach them and start real conversations. We source the creators and draft the opening messages, so your time goes to the part that matters most: personalizing where it counts, answering questions when someone replies, and guiding them toward publishing an endorsement on Change.vote. Success here is about consistency, warmth, and follow-through, showing up every day and helping people feel genuinely heard.
Change.org is the world’s largest platform for democracy.
At a time when dissatisfaction with democracy globally is at an all-time high, we’re investing heavily in using AI to build the most powerful tools in the world to give people greater voice, while bringing people across the political spectrum together to identify shared solutions.
Our core petitions platform, used by more than 100 million people annually, is growing rapidly - and we are rebuilding it from the ground-up using new tools to turn anyone into a powerful civic leader on the issues they care about. Soon we will launch a new platform to identify the >80% of issues that most people agree on, locally and nationally, and to mobilize hundreds of millions of people to advocate for those common-ground solutions.
Change.org is also building the most trusted, accessible, and transparent election information platform in the United States, Change.vote. In our 2025 pilot, thousands of voters used the app to explore their ballots, with high engagement, strong satisfaction, and a meaningful increase in voter confidence. Our goal for 2026 is bold: scale Change.vote to millions of voters nationwide. To realize this vision, we’re expanding the most talented team in the world at the intersection of technology and social impact - all focused every day on building healthier democracies globally.
