Position Summary: Join the Southern Tier Community Center (an entity of the Children's Home) as a Part Time School Age Child Care Site Supervisor. The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and evaluating all Teacher Assistants while working directly with the School Age Director in the implementation of the program and policies. The supervisor should create and maintain an atmosphere which is beneficial to the physical and emotional health of the youth. Supervisors are responsible for guiding and directing the children in care and participating in assessments of the progress of each youth.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Associate's Degree from an accredited College or University in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or related field - OR - School-Age Child Care Credential - OR - other office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period required
- 1+ years of experience working with children under 13 years of age required
- Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required
