Galley Grill

Catawba Island Club is a private, resort-style club that has been family owned and operated for over 50-years. Our location - directly on the beautiful Lake Erie shore - attracts families from across the mid-west. At CIC employees have the opportunity to earn a competitive wage in a meaningful work environment. We are hiring for our summer 2026 season and looking for fun energetic people for the Galley Grill.

The Galley Grill at Catawba Island Club is a lakeside gathering place for members and guests which serves a combination of food and non-alcoholic beverages. The Galley Team is cross trained to perform multiple tasks:

• greeting customers
• taking orders
• preparing and cooking items to order
• delivering orders
• opening and closing tasks - ensuring that the facility is clean and orderly

• The Galley is open 7-days per week, from late spring through early fall. The work is fast paced, but in a relaxed environment - great view of the lake. Skills learned will include: operating a point-of-sale system, food safety and sanitation, prioritizing tasks, and interpersonal skills through teamwork and customer service.

There is an end of summer bonus that is earned by committing to the the entirety of the season.
