In this role, you are expected to: The Cash and Trade Proc Sr Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth knowledge, and contribute to the development of new techniques / processes for cash management operations. * Oversee daily operations for multiple teams and several unit leads and ensure the teams meet their performance and quality expectations * Identify and implement solutions to optimize operations and lead initiatives and strategies to ensure alignment with Cluster Operations leadership. * Manage staff resource allocation, KPI, SLAs are met while assisting with the development and oversight of the team * Resolve complex and highly variable issues with significant departmental impact * Evaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations and other personnel actions * Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards * Contribute to the objectives of the entire Services function specifically for Payment Operations (PDDTS, Pesonet, Philpass) * Promote effective risk management and regulatory compliance by adhering to policies, exercising sound judgement, and promptly escalating and addressing control issues. * Represent Payment Operations in key industry forums for the Bank * Acts as backup for Foreign Exchange and Fund Transfer Operations, ensuring continuity of critical payment and treasury related processes. * Assumes the role of Payments Deputy in the absence of Payments Manager * Leads and oversee branch projects, regulatory initiatives and process improvement efforts to support operational excellence and business growth * Provide expert transaction input for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors * Contribute to special projects and provide feedback for all project related activities as directed * Contribute to the development of new techniques and processes within cash management * Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Cash & Trade Operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives * Influence decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating others in area * Evaluate moderately complex issues with substantial potential impact * Provide informal guidance or on-the-job-training to new team members * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: * Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience * 5-8 years of relevant experience in Payment Operations, Cash Operations, Funds Transfer Operations, or Banking Operations. * Experience with cross-border payments and SWIFT messaging. * Knowledge of foreign exchange (FX) operations and BSP regulatory requirements. * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, regulators, and cross-functional partners. * Demonstrate leadership capabilities. * Effective verbal and written skills. * Effective communication and analytical skills This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
