The Dashboard & Insights Analyst is a developing professional role focused on leveraging data to drive insights and optimize digital experiences. This role applies specialized knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing, and evaluating retail & digital processes, customer behavior data, and performance metrics. The analyst identifies opportunities for improvement, interprets complex data sets, and formulates recommendations to enhance digital strategies and user engagement. They research and interpret factual information from various digital sources, identify inconsistencies in data or results, define business issues within the retail landscape, and formulate recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices relevant to digital analytics. This role integrates established disciplinary knowledge within retail analytics with a basic understanding of related industry practices. A good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area is essential. The analyst develops working knowledge of industry best practices and standards. This role has a limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of insights and services provided, with the impact primarily restricted to their immediate team.
Responsibilities:
• Incumbents are responsible for various data activities, including data acquisition, processing, analysis, maintenance, data quality assurance, and reporting related to Retail & Wealth portfolio including MTG, RBB, Pure Retail etc.
• Conduct routine operational and administrative work, such as building dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
• Day-to-day actions focus on administering defined procedures, performing analyses on digital performance metrics, and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Deliver routine and defined outputs while continuously developing knowledge of the broader context of digital business with other areas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of digital analytics frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• 2-4 years relevant experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on digital analytics.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SAS, Python, SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau is required.
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hive, Impala and Pyspark is required.
• Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) tools and their application in data analysis and insight generation is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to engage resources outside of direct control to achieve objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.
