KYC Operations In-Process Reviewer - KYC Data Quality

Description The In Process Reviewer (IPR) will be part of the ISG KYC Quality, Risk and Control Team. The unit is tasked with conducting quality reviews across Corporate and Investment Bank, Direct Custody & clearing and Investor services client population. The IPR reviewer reviews KYC Records and will be responsible for ensuring key quality issues are highlighted and corrected before record gets approved. The program engages stakeholders and provides formalized defect reporting and feedback on a monthly basis to senior management/stakeholders involved in the KYC Record process. The objective is to improve the quality of the KYC Records. Responsibilities * Review KYC information obtained by the checker team for completeness and accuracy in line with regulators requirements * Performing 6-eye checks on collected KYC information and ensuring accuracy in our systems * Identify red flag situations and escalate in line with policy and procedures * Conduct root cause analysis by identifying & analyzing areas of common defect/issues/themes * Facilitating discussion with stakeholders in the process * Identifying areas for improvement in the teams, sharing knowledge and conducting quality meetings with the teams and stakeholders * Partake in quality related projects & workstreams Requirements * 6-8 years of experience in KYC, compliance, or audit experience in AML * -Strong attention to detail and strong analytical capability * Consistently able to anticipate and respond to customer/business needs. * Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate partnerships across business regions * Proven ability to make effective and timely decisions * Ability to proficiently use MS Office products ​Core Responsibilities: ​ * Conduct In process reviews of KYC Records ( All client types) * Report findings on a timely basis. * Act as primary point of contact for assigned region * Engage with stakeholders/Senior management and ensure timely feedback loop * Conduct root cause analysis by identifying & analyzing areas of common defect/issues/themes * Assist in defining continuous improvement plan and track implementation and success of initiatives * Achieve operational goals set, and deliver against agreed targets in terms of quality and productivity * Provide updates at regular meetings with BSU, RCT, Compliance, etc. * Manage remediation projects / initiatives and report on progress as required * Assist with department projects / initiatives as requested \------------------------------------------------------ ## Job Family Group: Operations - Services \------------------------------------------------------ ## Job Family: Business KYC \------------------------------------------------------ ## Time Type: Full time \------------------------------------------------------ ## Most Relevant Skills Business Acumen, Credible Challenge, Laws and Regulations, Management Reporting, Policy and Procedure, Program Management, Referral and Escalation, Risk Controls and Monitors, Risk Identification and Assessment, Risk Remediation. \------------------------------------------------------ ## Other Relevant Skills For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter. \------------------------------------------------------ Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
