Salesperson - Analyst / Assistant Vice President

This position is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, with the team contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Key responsibilities include evaluating and resolving complex issues, making critical decisions by weighing various options and managing conflicting priorities. Strong analytical skills are essential for filtering, prioritizing, and validating diverse information. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. You will leverage strong communication and diplomatic skills to partner effectively, collaboratively solve issues, and significantly influence project success through expert guidance. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. In essence, this position is a sales professional who can independently think, work as a good team player, eager to find solutions to solve problems and drive business goals with a strong sense of responsibility. Responsibilities: * Focus on coverage of Financial Intermediary and assist the team covering some of our most important Clients including Private Banks, Broker Dealers, Local Consumer Banks. * This is a cross-asset sales team, thus the team is responsible for selling structured investments linked to equities, fixed income, currencies, commodities, or hybrid asset classes. * The successful candidate will work with multiple partners across the firm including the various product structuring and trading teams. * Continued development of the platform to improve the client experience * Uphold the highest ethical standards and strictly adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements. * Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance or Risk in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure * Build a culture of strong accountability of the position. * Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets. * Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
