What You'll Do

• Gather data for field reconnaissance and verify plans against site conditions
• Track assets, perform construction material inventory, and collect GPS data
• Support construction teams with site prep, project completion, and follow-up
• Assist with inspections, reporting, and verification testing of installed materials and equipment
• Identify non-compliant work based on contract documents
• Complete City training modules

What You Bring

• High school diploma with construction-related coursework
• Two years of construction experience preferred; equipment operation experience desired
• Eager to learn, hands-on, and detail-oriented
• Able to communicate clearly with engineers, contractors, and utility staff

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic understanding of construction processes, materials, and project workflows
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and data
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift focus as priorities change
• Professionalism in interacting with staff, contractors, and the public
• Familiarity with GPS and field data collection a plus
