The Associate Scientist, In Vivo Pharmacology role will play a key role in helping advance City’s platform technology and screening potential siRNA therapeutics in vivo. The Associate will support in vivo pharmacology studies by assisting with animal handling, dosing, sample collection, and data recording. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in preclinical research and drug discovery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of in vivo studies involving mice and rats.
  • Prepare study materials and maintain accurate and timely data recording.
  • Dose animals via various routes (IP and SC), monitor body weights and general health, perform euthanasia, and harvest tissues.
  • Assist scientists in advanced surgical and dosing procedures.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Assist in performing downstream molecular analysis of tissues by RT-qPCR, western, and/or ELISA.
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-team environment.

Compensation: The base salary range provided reflects our current estimate of what we anticipate paying for this position. Your actual base salary will be based on several factors, including relevant skills, experience, internal equity, relevant education or training and market dynamics. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual cash bonus and equity compensation. City Therapeutics offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, health and dependent care FSA accounts, HSA/HRA accounts with company contributions, in addition to a 401(k) with competitive company match. Per Year Salary Range: $79,000 to $90,000
