Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
- →Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- →Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- →Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
- →Experience with new equipment installations preferred, but not required.
Requirements
~2 min read- Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, reactors, electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
- Diagnose and correct PLC programming problems to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose, repair and replace electrical components of machines including but not limited to motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and variable speed drives.
- Experience with new equipment installations preferred but not required.
- Associate's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
- Industrial Electrician experience preferred
- Experience in a production or manufacturing setting preferred; but not required.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs., twist and turn, kneel, and stand for long periods of time, climb a ladder, and work overhead as required.
This is permanent direct hire position; all considered applicants must pass background and substance screening.
Maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of switchgear, transformers, switchboards, motors, generators, alternators, regulators, reactors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.
Installation and repair of electrical wiring, conduits, feeders, receptacles, lighting fixtures, fiber-optic/coaxial cables, and other electrical components.
PLC troubleshooting/programming to diagnose and resolve issues that minimize equipment downtime.
Diagnosis and repair of machine electrical components, including motors, relays, overloads, cables, switches, sensors, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)/variable speed drives.
Skills: Maintenance, repair, installation, and testing of switchgear, transformers, switchboards, motors, generators, alternators, regulators, reactors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic/pneumatic electrical control systems.
