Shift 1 Hours 4 am - 12:30 pm Monday through Friday Must be open to Saturday work and overtime.
As a Production Supervisor at our milk facility, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of milk processing operations.
Your role will involve leading a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining quality standards throughout the process.
You'll coordinate with other departments to optimize production efficiency, monitor inventory levels, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies, as well as addressing any issues that arise during production.
Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our milk facility.
Responsibilities

Staff Supervision:
Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
Compose and deliver performance evaluations.
Corrective action notices and provide constructive feedback.
Track, manage, and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory.
Coordinate with the supply chain to optimize stock levels.
Enforce and promote safety protocols.
Conduct regular safety training for production personnel.
Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners. (e.g., quality, logistics, maintenance).
Relay information accurately, in detail, and respectfully effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Train new production associates. · Provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
Address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate production records and reports.
Generate reports for management on production metrics.
Requirements
~1 min readHS Diploma or GED equivalent. Degree preferred.
Strong preference for Dairy experience
Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience in a food production environment.
Food manufacturing experience is a must have.
One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
Ability to manage and develop associates.
Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
