Drivers are typically out 12 days followed by a full 48-hour reset at home every other weekend. This schedule helps drivers maximize miles while still receiving regular planned time at home. Average haul lengths are 700–750 miles, helping keep trucks moving and reducing excessive short runs.

Average weekly earnings range from $1,300 to $1,500 depending on miles and experience. Consistent freight volume helps support dependable weekly paychecks. Detention pay is available when delays qualify, adding additional earning opportunities when drivers are held up beyond normal loading times.

Dry van freight runs established interstate lanes with steady customer demand throughout the year. Most loads are no-touch, with a mix of drop-and-hook and live loads. This combination helps drivers stay productive while minimizing unnecessary downtime between shipments and delays.

Drivers operate late-model Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Most trucks include APUs, inverters, and refrigerators for added comfort while on the road. Reliable equipment and scheduled maintenance help reduce downtime and keep drivers on schedule.
