Warehouse Associate - Box Collector (SUN-THURS)

The Box Collector is responsible for cleaning the designated areas within the warehouse, collecting debris, garbage, empty boxes, etc. Will also be responsible for sorting reusable boxes for packing purposes. As well as using the trash and cardboard compactors, safely and properly and maintaining a safe, clean and efficient warehouse. Adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

• →Collect boxes and deliver them to designated areas throughout the warehouse.
• →Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• →Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• →Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• →Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• →Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser. 
• →Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• →Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
• →Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
• →Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
• →Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
• →Must be willing to cross train.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English. 
• Must have reliable transportation. 
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing. 
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). Note: PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment if required for your specific role - not all roles require specific PPE. Please check with your HR/Training team for details on if your role requires specific PPE.

In performing the job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms that are up to 50lbs. 

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
