Warehouse Trainer (MON-FRI)

The Trainer will train and develop new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and safety processes and procedures. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear and all employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

• →Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
• →Responsible for stock chaser/ Equipment training and Certification safety and operation.
• →Provide the company tour to new employees
• →Responsible for Evaluate / Audit employees in training and communicate issues ASAP.
• →Identify training needs and communicate them to the training coordinator
• →Troubleshoot issues with tablets.
• →Document the training by completing all required paperwork
• →Perform other duties as assigned
• →Act professionally and remain focused while working
• →Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• →Perform cleaning activities as required
• →Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse.
• →Maintain a positive attitude
• →Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

• Must be in good standing
• Excellent attendance and performance
• Training experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.
• Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
• Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively
• Ability to read and speak English 
• Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals
• Basic computer skills
• People oriented
• Detail oriented
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required
• Bilingual preferred but not required

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs. Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing.

• The job will be performed entirely in the warehouse where conditions can range from warm to cool.
• The job will be performed around warehouse machines and equipment with a moderate level of noise.
• Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines.
• Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as needed and interact with employees at all levels.
