KnowFully Medical Education (KME), operating as CME Outfitters, CEC Concepts Healthcare Education, and Efficient CME, is a Joint Accreditation with Commendation provider, accredited to deliver continuing education for the healthcare team, including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals. We design and deliver high-impact continuing education through joint providership partnerships, custom-built activities, and a growing portfolio of innovative formats. Our work supports clinicians in delivering better care to patients across a broad range of therapeutic areas.
The Director of Accreditation (DoA) and Joint Providership leads KME's accreditation function and our portfolio of joint providership partnerships. This role is responsible for ensuring all activities meet ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence and Joint Accreditation requirements, maintaining our Joint Accreditation with Commendation status, and serving as the senior point of contact for joint providership partners across the activity lifecycle.
This is an accreditation and partnership leadership role. The role is measured on ensuring excellence in accreditation, partner experience, and program execution.
This position offers a starting rate of $140,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Maintain compliance with ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence and Joint Accreditation requirements across all KME activities
- Ensure KME meets its annual commitment to a target percentage of activities designated as Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE), including verifying that IPCE activities meet requirements for interprofessional planning, faculty, and learner participation, and address interprofessional collaboration in content
- Track multiple CME/CE activities simultaneously using Asana and internal tools
- Ensure accuracy of tracking spreadsheets and reporting documents in Excel
- Support collection of required documentation from joint providers (e.g., disclosures, evaluations, attendance/learner data, outcomes documentation, etc.)
- Monitor deadlines and proactively ensure all activities are on track
- Lead preparation for Joint Accreditation reaccreditation cycles and self-studies; serve as primary liaison to the Joint Accreditation organizations
- Oversee faculty disclosure review, mitigation of relevant financial relationships with ineligible companies, and documentation
- Approve activity content from a compliance and accreditation standpoint
- Lead Joint Providership and Accreditation team with clarity on standards and supporting the company culture and mission
- Stay current on evolving ACCME guidance, Joint Accreditation standards, IPCE best practices, and industry standards; brief executive leadership on relevant changes and opportunities for improvement
- Attend Alliance for CEhp annual conference and lead submission of at least one presentation or poster proposal annually
- Attend and engage in all activity huddles and kickoffs
- Serve as senior point of contact for joint providership partners throughout the activity lifecycle
- Lead partner onboarding, expectation-setting, and accreditation/compliance reviews
- Collaborate with the Educational Strategy team on partnership opportunities as appropriate
- Ensure partner satisfaction and retention through responsive, professional engagement
- Partner with the JP Coordinator to ensure timely faculty disclosure review, content approvals, and activity launches
- Provide oversight and support on PARS reporting accuracy and timeliness (executed by JP Coordinator)
- Work closely with Operations, Project Management, Scientific Team, and Educational Strategy teams to ensure smooth handoffs across the lifecycle of all activities
- Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen quality and scalability
- Directly manage the JP Coordinator and Accreditation staff
- Develop and maintain internal Accreditation Team that represents various roles in the organization and reviews updates, brainstorms ways we can differentiate and innovate, and remain best in class
- Develop, measure, and report KPIs for each team and individual on your team
- Build a high-performing team aligned to KME's quality and growth objectives
Requirements
~1 min read- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in continuing healthcare education, with at least 2 years in an accreditation leadership or compliance-focused role at an accredited provider
- Working knowledge of both ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence and Joint Accreditation requirements, including IPCE standards and the joint providership model
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting accreditation review processes
- Experience managing partner or client relationships in a healthcare education context
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
~1 min read- CHCP (Certified Healthcare CPD Professional) credential
- Direct experience at a Joint Accredited provider
- Experience with PARS reporting and audit-readiness
- Experience presenting at the Alliance for CEhp or other industry forums
- Familiarity with Asana or similar workflow tools
- Joint Accreditation with Commendation status maintained without findings or inquiries
- Annual IPCE activity percentage commitment met or exceeded
- Faculty disclosure reviews and content approvals completed on schedule, enabling on-time activity launches
- Joint providership partners report a strong, consistent experience throughout the activity lifecycle
- JP Coordinator (Daniela) growing into expanded responsibilities
- Active engagement in industry community through Alliance for CEhp participation
