TEAM LEADER - PRODUCTION CONTROL -TOTE HOUSE

• Daily Manpower Management using Manpower Visual Management Board
• Confirm building of shipments using according to the shipping board 
• Daily warehouse assessment check for 5’s & Safety compliance
• Responsible for operator training in accordance with approved Standard Work Instructions
• Assist when necessary, in the event of operator shortage and or break time relief
• Confirm Daily Forklift inspection has been completed for all Forklifts in Shipping
• Support operator for 2-way scan failures and document the reason & countermeasure
• Daily confirmation that operator is completing the 2way scan via the online scan log
• Complete Daily changepoint check sheet at the end of the shift 
• Ensure operator completes 5’s responsibilities at the end of the shift 
• Scan shipping paperwork to Com team and greeting drivers 
• Conduct Worker Observation audits at specified intervals
• Confirm each load is loaded correctly and complete.
• Ensure all team members are wearing all required PPE
• Able to create and follow through with Kaizen 
• Verify daily forklift checks are being done

• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate good organizational skills 
• Ability to quickly recognize problems
• Ability to train and lead a team independently
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
