The Program Coordinator of Adult Enrichment supports the mission of the Katz JCC Adult Department by developing, implementing, and expanding dynamic educational and social programming for active older adults. This role plays a key part in creating meaningful learning opportunities that foster intellectual stimulation, personal enrichment, and community connection. Working in a collaborative environment, the Program Coordinator helps create and execute adult program learning opportunities at the Katz JCC. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement engaging class offerings aligned with the mission of Adult Enrichment and Lifelong Learning.
  • Identify and pursue new initiatives to expand mission-driven programming.
  • Cultivate relationships with instructors and partner organizations to strengthen and diversify program offerings.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of lectures, workshops, special events, and educational experiences.
  • Support departmental operations and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Adult Enrichment.
  • Effectively track program statistics of participants joining our Social Recreation programs and other relevant information. 
  • Coordinate and participate in all Active Adult Clubs and Committee meetings including but not limited to Social Club, Jewish War Veterans and South Jersey Men’s Club.
  • In conjunction with the marketing dept. develop appropriate publication of department programs and events including but not limited to advertising, website updates, internal publications and flyers.
  • Advanced Level PC skills: Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access.
  • Ability to perform work that is routine and strong attention to details
  • Knowledge of systems and functionality. 
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent project management, customer service, organization, and time management skills
