Our Community Living & Day Services programs support individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and serious mental illness (SMI) through person-centered, recovery-oriented services. The Intensive Community Wraparound Supports program provides comprehensive, coordinated care focused on independence, wellness, and community integration.

Responsibilities
~1 min readThe Program Director provides clinical and operational leadership for the DDS/DMH Intensive Community Wraparound Supports program, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered care and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee daily operations and service delivery of the wraparound program
• Supervise, train, and support staff, including performance evaluations and professional development
• Recruit, hire, and onboard program staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and agency policies
• Monitor program expenditures and maintain fiscal responsibility within contract allocations
• Facilitate referrals, enrollments, and discharges in accordance with regulations
• Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning processes
• Ensure high standards of care with a focus on health, safety, and risk management
• Oversee clinical documentation systems and service note accuracy
• Collaborate with referral sources, families, and community providers
• Participate in on‑call rotation as assigned
• Ensure proper implementation of MAP (Medication Administration Program) policies
• Promote recovery principles that support independence, wellness, and self‑determination
• Empower persons served to actively participate in treatment planning and decision-making
• Foster a culture of hope, skill-building, and goal achievement
• Ensure use of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
• Develop, implement, and oversee behavioral support plans
• Train and mentor staff in PBS strategies and interventions
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance during crisis situations
• Monitor and evaluate targeted and intensive behavioral support plans
• Anticipate and manage clinical risk, ensuring appropriate interventions
• Coordinate psychiatric admissions and higher levels of care when needed
• Participate in Universal, Targeted, and Intensive Support meetings
• Participate in Human Rights and Risk meetings as required
• Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHC, LICSW, or higher) required
• Licensed in Massachusetts
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with autism and/or severe mental illness
• Expertise in Positive Behavior Supports required
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience preferred
Requirements

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to collaborate with families, providers, and funding agencies
• Strong documentation, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to maintain clear, accurate documentation
• Preference for candidates with lived experience and multilingual abilities relevant to Southeastern MA
