As a Child Advocacy Center Program Coordinator, you will help individuals and families affected by gambling-related harms connect with support services, recovery resources, and community programs. This role combines peer support, advocacy, outreach, and education to help build healthier communities.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →versee day-to-day operations of the Child Advocacy Center, including but not limited to ensuring the coordinated efforts of Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services for the purpose of investigation.
- →Assure that the site is supplied with materials (including snacks, brochures and office supplies) and equipment and that they are efficiently placed and working. Ensure the Center is safe for all age children by completing a monthly safety check.
- →Provide support and crisis intervention services to child victim and non-offending family members at all stages of investigation and prosecution. Additionally, provide short-term counseling support as well as appropriate referrals.
- →Act as liaison between the family and the court. Accompaniment through any court proceedings and tours of the court prior to proceedings.
- Monday - Wednesday and Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00AM - 6:30PM
Requirements
