What You’ll Do as Warming Station Staff:
You’ll be at the heart of our mission, ensuring that guests at our warming center feel safe, supported, and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

• Complete all direct service tasks related to the warming center including intakes; providing material goods to guest as needed, interacting with guests, and providing them with referrals and/or information about area services and programs as appropriate

• Provide laundry service got guests, washing and drying the laundry for guests as requested

• Maintain a list of guests each day and provide that information to the supervisor as required

• Ensure that all policies and procedures of the warming center are followed by guests

• Upon arrival, set-up warming center, including cots, bedding, beverages, food, entertainment supplies, etc.

• Upon departure of all guests, clean and disinfect all equipment used and the warming center including bathroom and kitchen area

Program Schedule:
📅 Runs November 2026 through April 2027
🕒 Open every day—including holidays
⏰ 40 hours per week:

• Evening: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Overnight: 12:00 AM – 9:00 AM

Compensation:
💵 $30 an hour

What We’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 1 to 3 years of experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or vulnerable populations

• Empathy, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in all situations
