Manager, Cloud Operations

The Role: 

11:11 Systems is looking for an experienced Manager of Cloud Operations to join our team. This role provides ownership of Cloud Operations across 11:11 Systems technology ecosystem and platforms supporting customer-facing cloud services across all global 11:11 Systems data center locations. The manager will also field requests from numerous teams at 11:11 Systems to ensure success of systems and services. This position will require a person with a penchant for detail and a continuous improvement mindset. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director, Cloud Infrastructure Operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and build a team of Cloud Operations professionals that ensures quality across 11:11 global platforms.
• Provide complete ownership of remediation and trending of alerts across all 11:11“as-a-service” product offerings, including IaaS, DRaaS, BaaS, Recovery Services and others.
• Manage remediation of infrastructure monitoring, alerts and life cycle management including, but not limited to, host servers, virtual servers, storage arrays, network infrastructure (e.g. switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
• Collaborate with Data Center Operations on facility and environmental monitoring and alerting including power consumption, operating temperatures, and other key data center environmental factors.
• Act as stakeholder in the success of service and product offerings, from designing to implementing automated solutions and automated functions for new and existing products.
• Develop, track, and report KPIs to the company.
• Collaborate with the Cloud Architecture, Cloud Services, Cloud Infrastructure, and SRE teams to support optimal integration and capabilities within the 11:11 cloud platform and management console.
• Ensure all escalated customer tickets are addressed and escalated to vendor support as needed in a timely manner.
• Develop strong domain knowledge as a subject matter expert in the core monitoring and life cycle technologies in use by 11:11 global cloud infrastructure platform.
• Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values 
• Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies
• Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgements 
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or University degree in technical discipline, or equivalent related work experience required.

• 4+ year's experience leading a team of engineers, enterprise infrastructure management, monitoring and alerting frameworks and platforms integration.
• Winning mindset with the ability to manage execution of infrastructure excellence with an entrepreneurial spirit believing in implementing and leaving solutions better than you found them
• Experience with VMware ecosystem including vSphere, vCloud Director, Veeam, Zerto preferred.
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring tools, automation, and scripting languages including Ansible, Go, Python preferred.
• Understanding of API, infrastructure as a service, and disaster recovery services preferred.
• Experience working in large-scale, multi-tenant service provider environments.
• Excellent communicator, high energy, positive attitude, aptitude for professional growth
• Must be legally eligible to work in assigned country without visa sponsorship
