This position is part of a team at the forefront of developing critical components of a next generation, distributed cyber network operations platform providing novel solutions to challenges that cyber missions face at scale. The person in this role engages with end-users to identify the real technical barriers to their mission success, builds appropriate technical solutions in coordination with a small team, and supports deployment of those solutions in a rapid and streamlined manner directly on operational infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Current Top Secret security clearance SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Degree requirement can be met with four years of hands-on experience in a Software Engineering or similar full-time position.)
  • Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) deployment strategies, cluster lifecycle (deployment, troubleshooting, scaling), and container orchestration.
  • Experience integrating or building new software solutions for real-world applications
  • Understanding of complex distributed systems and topologies, ability to learn and describe complex architectures to customer stakeholders
  • Knowledge of security concepts, networks, and system internals to apply in daily tasks. 
  • Proficient in Linux-based development environments (e.g., Ubuntu, RedHat Enterprise Linux, or derivatives).
  • Proficient with version control software such as Git and hosted code repositories, such as GitLab.
  • Experience implementing modern DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, IaC, GitOps) in production deployment workflows.

  • Kubernetes-native certificate management (e.g. cert-manager)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Stack Hub (or other Hybrid Cloud technologies and architectures)
  • Experience as an operator, developer, or analyst for computer network operations
  • Experience working within SAFe and Agile Release Trains
  • Hands-on experience working in classified cloud environments in a SCIF
  • Experience with AWS
  • Cloud, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications
