ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, includes the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Conduct Outbound calls to pre-qualified and retention leads to advise them on CMG specialty products.
- Identify goals of In-bound calls and work with them through the loan process.
- Originate quality Reverse Mortgages
- Manage customers through the entire loan process, from data collection and analysis through loan conclusion while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Collect and analyze information regarding customer income, assets, investments and debts to include multifaceted or complex borrowers.
- Submits completed loan application and supporting documentation to the processing department.
- Present the advantages and disadvantages of different products to determine the best option for each customer’s financial situation.
- Set proper customer expectations and provide timely status updates to ensure a positive customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of one year reverse mortgage experience preferred.
- An active NMLS license required.
- Ability to be licensed in several States.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with current lending regulations.
- Must be self-motivated and have an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- High integrity and confidentiality required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct Reports: N/A
PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.
Base Compensation Information – For residents of the states of CA & CO, and for NY + other areas requiring disclosure:
A large portion of a Loan Officer’s compensation is commission based. CMG pays base wages that are equivalent to minimum wage. Base wages for a non-exempt Loan Officer are a draw against commissions earned.
