We’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager responsible for Vendor and Facility Management. This role will provide centralized oversight, strategic vendor governance, proactive facility operations.This role ensures that business operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards for infrastructure, maintenance, and compliance. 

Responsibilities

Facilities Strategy & Planning

  • Coordinate schedules and ensure coverage coverage on ALL working days at both locations
  • Define workplace standards (safety, cleanliness, experience)
  • Plan space utilization and capacity

Vendor Management

  • Negotiation and vendor selection
  • Manage contracts (cleaning, security, maintenance, pantry)
  • Track SLAs and performance

Budget & Cost Control

  • Own facilities budget (rent, utilities, services, supplies)
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities

Employee Safety

  • Ensure building compliance, emergency protocols
  • Partner with Compliance team for audits and risk mitigation

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor operations and facility teams
  • Set performance goals and conduct evaluations
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Employee Experience Oversight

  • Set standards for office experience (events, amenities, comfort)

Escalation Point

  • Resolve complex or high-impact issues
  • Good knowledge of Information security
  • Oversee specific business processes within the ISMS.
  • Responsible to manage the ISMS documentation, conduct risk assessments, and implement risk treatment plans.
  • Risk Owners are responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks within their areas of responsibility.
  • They are also responsible for implementing risk treatment plans.
  • Conduct the BCP and other test related to information security continuity along with CISO
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of the ISMS.
  • Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures and report any issues to the CISO.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, or facility operations, often requiring 7+ years, with experience managing teams of 3-5 members
  • Good Communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Technically savvy with ability to use basic computer tools, including Google Docs, Sheets
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Negotiation and effective communication to coordinate the internal and external stakeholders
  • Legal/compliance understanding to guarantee the integrity of contracts
  • Good Relationship-building skills to grow in cooperative relationships
  • Good project management skills to handle more than one project at a time
  • Experience with facility management software or CMMS systems
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices (energy efficiency, green building standards like LEED)
  • Exposure to digital transformation / automation in operations
  • Experience managing large-scale or multi-site facilities
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong background in vendor negotiations and contract management
  • Experience in crisis management and business continuity planning
  • Understanding of IoT-based smart facility systems
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification or process improvement experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
