Responsibilities
~1 min read- Assist with basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of company-owned equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on small tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment
- Learn proper use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Assist with completing repair and maintenance records
- Help organize and maintain shop facilities in compliance with safety and Colas 6S standards
- Support parts receiving, inventory, and supply organization
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while working in the shop or field
- Receive ongoing training, mentoring, and performance reviews
- Take on increased responsibilities as skills and experience grow
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Interest in mechanics, welding, heavy equipment, or skilled trades required
- Relevant coursework or hands-on experience may include (but is not required):
- Welding
- Automotive or Diesel Technology
- Small Engines
- Metal Fabrication
- Construction or Industrial Trades
- Shop Classes
