Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a Laborer to join our team in the Watertown NY region. This role supports paving and road construction operations by performing essential field tasks in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment from such as labor positions and flagging.

• →Applies the safety guidelines including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment.
• →Carries out the work based on precise directives from their superiors.
• →Prepares the tools,  the materials, necessary for the building of the structure and the workspace. 
• →Ensures the cleanliness of the construction site.
• →Assist crews with paving, road construction, and heavy civil operations.
• →Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and equipment.
• →Perform general labor tasks to support daily jobsite activities.
• →Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• →Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor and changing weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and jobsite practices.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to follow directions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous construction or paving experience preferred but not required.
