Labourer

This role involves performing general labour duties at an aggregate/construction site, including operating hand tools, maintaining site cleanliness, and working around belts and crushers. The position requires strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as provincial OH&S standards.

• →Operate/handle various construction tools
• →Maintain site cleanliness, and perform general labour activities including but not limited to shoveling in and around the belts and crusher
• →Comply and enforce the company's, Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• →Act in accordance with Provincial occupational Health and safety regulations and practices

• Previous work experience in the aggregate industry, an asset
• Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 25 kilograms
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when required
• Experience operating a loader is an asset
• Valid driver's license and clean driver/s abstract
• Demonstrate ability to gain knowledge quickly
• Capable of working independently when needed
• Ability to promote a positive and safe work environment in a physically demanding and fast paced environment
• Comfortable working outdoors, in extreme weather conditions, and in a noisy and dusty environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• WHMIS and Surface Miner certificates would be considered an asset
