REEVES | Asphalt Paver Screed Operator - Columbia, SC

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an individual for the position of Asphalt Paver Screed Operator based out of Columbia, SC. The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence. Asphalt Paver Screed Operator's primary function is to adjust the screed height on the paving machine to ensure proper depth, grade and finish. The Asphalt Paver Screed Operator is also responsible for ensuring the consistency of the asphalt mat and the overall ride quality of the finished pavement. 

• →Needs to have the ability to correctly set up paver screed, lay a uniform thickness.
• →An accurate and working knowledge of the paver screed (ex. correct speed, check on material coming out of truck, straight lines)
• →The ability to take a leadership role on the crew
• →The willingness and ability to keep paver and screed maintained and clean
• →The willingness to work nights and weekends
• →The ability to operate equipment in a safe and consistent manner

• 6 months to 1 year of experience
• Experience working in and around construction equipment
• Driving License (preferred)
