About the Role

We’re looking for a Field Craft Development Specialist to support the growth and development of our craft workforce. This is a hands-on, field-based role working directly alongside Foremen and crews to strengthen skills, improve quality and production, and support career progression.

This role is focused on coaching and development—not supervision. You’ll partner with field leadership to identify skill gaps and provide real-time, on-site training to help our teams perform at their best.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Foremen to identify employee development needs and skill gaps
  • Provide hands-on coaching and training to Laborers, Formsetters, Finishers, and other craft roles
  • Observe work in the field and deliver real-time feedback to improve quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Support onboarding of new hires by reinforcing jobsite expectations and standards
  • Help track training progress and recommend opportunities for advancement
  • Identify high-potential employees and contribute to workforce development planning
  • Reinforce proper concrete methods, tools, sequencing, and company standards
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Document training progress, coaching efforts, and development plans

Requirements

  • 5+ years of concrete construction experience preferred
  • Strong working knowledge across multiple craft disciplines (Laborer, Formsetter, Finisher)
  • Experience training, mentoring, or coaching others is highly preferred
  • Ability to influence and develop others without formal authority
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work in active jobsite environments and travel frequently
  • 100% field-based role across Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming
  • Full-time, with day or night shift depending on project needs
  • Outdoor construction environment in varying weather conditions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the job
