Role Overview: As the E-Commerce Manager you will be responsible for leading the strategy and growth of the e-commerce business plan to exceed annual sales targets and increase conversion and repeat visits. This position is focused on developing strategies to drive revenue and optimize the customer experience through data-driven analysis. This role is onsite 4+ days per week in Sherman Oaks.
E-Commerce Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop operational e-commerce strategies and execute on all initiatives including short and long-term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance
- Leverage data to identify, analyze and report on trends and patterns and use this data to optimize the website
- Partner with the broader digital team on e-mail marketing strategy and calendar to ensure it aligns with overall ecommerce plan and goals.
- Maintain the by day calendar with programming and daily numbers to ensure partners and team are always up to day on the latest results
- Regularly analyze web analytics and business performance for opportunities to maximize digital sales and client engagement/retention
- Collaborate with Ecom Director to execute tasks required to maintain the site including promotions, site content updates, merchandising, product setup and A/B testing ensuring that functionality meets and exceeds company expectations
- Review the site daily with a customer-first mindset; reacting to current business and trends to drive conversion using Google Analytics metrics and inventory reports
- Evaluate issues and effectively communicate technical and non-technical solutions to peers
- Conduct final user testing and quality assurance processes. Collaborate to ensure promotions, site enhancements, and content are properly setup, scheduled, and QA'ed on site prior to launch
- Work with Email and Paid to provide linking strategies that provide the fast path to product and conversion
- Communicate with Crossfunctional partners (Operations, Sales, Customer Service and more) with regards to site, product, and promotion updates
- Conduct ongoing competitive and benchmark analysis. Monitor industry benchmarks, trends and best practices
E-Commerce Manager Qualifications:
- 3-5 years digital marketing/e-commerce experience
- Extensive knowledge of online marketing, social media, email marketing and content marketing
- A strategic thinker and digital innovator
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-starting individual
- Highly proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills to inform digital growth and conversion strategies
