In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the safe and secure operation of Halifax Stanfield International Airport by administering airport access control programs, maintaining the integrity of security processes, and delivering exceptional service to the airport community.

Position Summary
The Airport Pass Control Administrator supports the secure operation of Halifax Stanfield International Airport by administering airport access control programs and providing exceptional customer service. This role processes Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) applications, conducts fingerprinting, issues airport passes, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with Transport Canada regulations and airport security requirements.
Compensation:$26.00 per hour
Major Responsibilities
- Process and review Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) applications.
- Administer airport pass control services.
- Complete fingerprinting for applicants.
- Provide exceptional customer service to airport employees and visitors.
- Assist with baggage storage, lost and found, key control, and visitor pass administration.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with airport security procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Security Office with additional administrative duties as required.
Training for these posts will be provided during on-the-job training, if a candidate is successful.
Education and Knowledge
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Administrative training or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification (online-only certifications are not accepted).
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
- Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
- Willingness to complete required online training courses.

- Understanding of airport security procedures, access control, or regulatory compliance is considered an asset.
