    What You’ll Do

    As a Commonwise Caregiver, you will help clients live with safety, independence, and dignity by:

    • Building meaningful, lasting relationships with clients and families
    • Providing consistent, reliable support during times of need
    • Monitoring client condition and communicating changes to the care team
    • Advocating for clients within the community


    Care responsibilities may include:



    Personal Care (ADLs)

    • Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
    • Mobility assistance and transfers
    • Feeding and hydration support
    • Incontinence care

    Household & Lifestyle Support (IADLs)

    • Meal preparation and nutrition support
    • Light housekeeping and organization
    • Transportation and errands
    • Medication reminders
    • Companionship and engagement activities


    Caregivers play a vital role in supporting clients’ physical, emotional, and social well-being while helping them remain safely at home.


    Qualifications


    We are especially interested in caregivers with:

    • Prior professional caregiving or CNA experience
    • Experience with transfers, gait belts, or mobility assistance
    • Dementia or memory care experience
    • Reliability and strong communication skills
    • Compassionate, patient-centered approach


    Preferred but not required:

    • CNA certification
    • Home care or facility experience
    • CPR/First Aid certification

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Job requires frequent bending and could include driving. Candidate must be proficient in communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs.
