The Area Vice President (AVP), ANZ will lead Commvault’s growth across Australia and New Zealand. You will be accountable for driving accelerated revenue, positioning Commvault’s SaaS, cloud-native, and cybersecurity solutions as the trusted choice for enterprises, and building a high-performing, digitally fluent sales organisation.

 

This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution - a leader who can shape the regional go-to-market strategy, drive disciplined sales performance, and embed a culture of coaching, accountability, and continuous development across the team.

 

  • Accelerate Commvault’s growth across ANZ by acquiring new customers and expanding strategic enterprise accounts.

  • Position Commvault as the partner of choice for cyber resilience, SaaS data protection, and secure, cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.

  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales and pre-sales organisation across Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on coaching, capability uplift, and talent development.

  • Establish a predictable, high-quality pipeline by embedding sales discipline through MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.

  • Develop frontline sales leadership, creating a culture of accountability, deal inspection, and continuous improvement.

  • Strengthen and expand Commvault’s partner ecosystem across ANZ, enabling hyperscalers, MSPs, GSIs, and regional channels to drive joint success.

  • Champion digital-first and AI-enabled approaches to selling, including data-driven pipeline management, customer engagement, and forecasting.

  • Lead the adoption and positioning of cloud-native and AI-enabled solutions that enhance security, scalability, and customer value.

  • Act as a visible and credible leader in the ANZ market, engaging senior stakeholders and representing Commvault across key customers, partners, and industry forums as a trusted voice who consistently demonstrates integrity and builds lasting professional relationships.

 

Responsibilities

  • 15+ years of enterprise technology leadership, with at least 7 years in cybersecurity, data resilience, or cloud security, and a proven record of growth in the ANZ market.

  • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling high-performing sales organisations, with a strong track record in coaching and developing leaders and teams.

  • Deep experience in SaaS, cloud-native, and multi-cloud environments, with strong understanding of digital transformation trends and enterprise architectures.

  • Strong technical and commercial acumen across cybersecurity, data protection, and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Proven ability to embed structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDPICC) and drive consistent, disciplined execution at scale.

  • Experience leading through partners and ecosystems, including hyperscalers, MSSPs, GSIs, and regional channels within ANZ.

  • Established relationships with CIOs, CISOs, and senior business leaders across Australia and New Zealand.

  • A consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets, expanding enterprise accounts, and building sustainable pipeline coverage.

  • Exceptional leadership presence, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and a strong focus on developing high-performing, accountable teams.
