About the Role

Launched in September 2023, our newest location in Silver Spring, MD, is home to top local talent in behavioral health care. This interdisciplinary team of trailblazers is building our adolescent and adult programs from the ground up alongside the leadership of well-established clinicians and doctors working in PHP/IOP behavioral health care for the past decade.
We are seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while leading interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. You will play a pivotal role in a growing, mission-driven environment that accommodates psychiatrist autonomy to create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Providing daily care for under 18 in our PHP/IOP programs
- →Conducting psychiatric evaluations for Compass patients, establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy
- →Leading experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical teams and making overall recommendations on treatment plans
- →Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists
- →Average 10-12 patients per day
- →Monday-Friday schedule
- →Limited call responsibilities
- BE or BC Adult Psychiatrist
- Active, unrestricted Maryland medical license. DC and VA license preferred.
- Willingness and eligibility to apply for cross-licensure through the Interstate Medical License Compact
- Licensed or ability to obtain Maryland Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Maryland
- Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment

Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming.
