Located at Atrium Medical Center (Middletown, OH) Full-Time Evening Shift (1:30pm - 10pm) with every other weekend Full-Time Night Shift (10pm - 6:30am) with every other weekend Part-Time Evening Shift (11am - 7:30pm) with every other weekend working approximately 20 hours per week Position Summary: The Phlebotomist/Processor collects, transports, and processes laboratory specimens. Responsibilities: Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures according to departmental procedures. Accurately label and prepare specimens for testing or transport. Complete requisitions and manage specimen receipt using computer systems. Deliver specimens to testing areas. Maintain equipment and assist with problem-solving related to patient draws and orders. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and departmental policies. Conduct inventory checks, train new employees, and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent. Some experience or training in phlebotomy or laboratory science is preferred. Safety & Physical Demands: Ability to walk 5-7 miles daily and stand for entire shift. Exposure to biohazard substances and hazardous chemicals. Adherence to safety, ergonomic, and health policies. Compliance with PPE requirements in lab or biohazard areas. Completion of required safety training and health evaluations promptly.
