We are currently looking to hire a Client Relationship and SecOps Manager to join our Corporate Team in Hereford, England, United Kingdom.
*This position allows for hybrid work arrangements from the United Kingdom only.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Client Relationship & Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the growth, retention and development of SPS’s insurance, assistance and corporate client portfolio.
The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with insurers, brokers, corporate clients, and strategic partners while supporting revenue growth through account management, client engagement, and business development activities.
Acting as a key commercial interface between SPS and its clients, the successful candidate will ensure client expectations are met, identify opportunities for growth, support new business acquisition, and contribute to the continued expansion of the Global Assistance division.
Whilst the role may occasionally support operational activities and client deployments, its primary purpose is the management, retention and growth of client accounts and strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a primary point of contact for designated insurance, assistance, and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with insurers, brokers, and strategic partners.
- Coordinate regular client review meetings and service performance discussions.
- Support contract renewals, client retention initiatives, and account development plans.
- Ensure client feedback is captured, monitored, and communicated internally.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Prepare client reports, presentations, and account updates.
- Support the implementation of new client programs and services.
- Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client accounts.
- Support the acquisition of new insurance, corporate, and assistance clients.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, and commercial presentations.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective opportunities within the CRM system.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and international providers.
- Represent SPS at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Support marketing and lead generation initiatives where appropriate.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal operational teams.
- Coordinate client requirements and ensure effective communication between stakeholders.
- Support client onboarding activities and service implementation plans.
- Monitor service delivery performance and assist in resolving client issues.
- Where required, deploy in support of client engagements, operational projects, site visits or assistance activities.
- Provide on-the-ground client representation during major projects, exercises, or operational activities.
- Assist with post-operation reviews, reporting, and client debriefs.
- Support the development of client case studies and operational success stories.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance brokers, underwriters, and affinity partners.
- Support the development of new distribution channels for SPS services.
- Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships that support business growth objectives.
- Maintain awareness of market developments and emerging opportunities.
- Assist with partnership agreements and collaborative initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in client relationship management, account management, or business development.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with corporate, insurance, or professional services clients.
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and client relationships simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience within insurance, assistance, travel risk management, or professional services sectors.
- Understanding of the London insurance market.
- Experience supporting client retention and account growth programs.
- Experience preparing commercial proposals and tenders.
- Experience working within an international or operationally focused environment
