Triad Associates (part of the Concordia Wireless family) is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects.
 
We’re seeking a bilingual Area Safety and Construction Manager to deliver safety training and field guidance to tower crews. This role requires a strong background as a Tower Technician and Foreman, along with the ability to effectively communicate safety standards and best practices in both English and Spanish. This is a blended role: ‘in office’ Safety Trainer plus ‘in field’ Construction Manager overseeing crews building/upgrading cell tower sites.
 
Pay Range:  $80,000-$95,000 annually 
Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position

Responsibilities: 
  • Developing and implementing Safety programs and procedures and documenting processes with the organization. Responsible for the quality control audits of all installation and repair work ensuring safety compliance as outlined by company and OSHA directives.
  •  Reviews potential subcontractors safety policies, procedures, and safety performance
  •  Ensure the Safety Plan is understood and implemented by all Project Managers and subcontractors.
  •  Conduct accident investigations and incident reports as needed.
  •  Develops and conducts employee safety and health training programs
  •  Conducts detailed site safety and health inspections
  •  Manages project security contracts, programs and policies
  •  Writes detailed injury/illness reports
  •  Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
  •  Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
  •  Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
  •  Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
Qualifications: 
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Safety Manager in cell site deployments 
  •  5+ years experience in Telecom industry
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must have experience as a Certified Tower Climber
  •  Strong knowledge of OSHA Federal Regulations, state and local safety regulations, policies and procedures (Required)
  •  Must be fully proficient MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook (Required)
  •  Proven experience as Safety Manager
  •  Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
  •  Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
  •  Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  •   Ability to travel outside of Illinois
