Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• →Develop medium to large websites, console applications, and RESTful APIs using the Microsoft stack with C# and JavaScript.
• →Contribute to an agile project team consisting of Web Developers, Technical Leads, Projects Managers, and Strategists to help understand and document client requirements, estimate work, develop new solutions, and enhance existing solutions.
• →Mentor and coach other developers through pairing, design discussions, and constructive code review feedback to help raise the technical skills of the whole team.
• →Build and maintain internal tools to streamline our development process, proactively react to issues and enhance productivity.
• →Use AI-assisted development tools (such as Claude Code) to speed up delivery, and help the team adopt them effectively and responsibly.
• →Understand and collaborate on our development and coding best practices.
• →Build packages and deploy software to integration environments such as Microsoft Azure.

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications and RESTful APIs in C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft MVC.
• 5+ years of experience with modern software design patterns, debugging and refactoring.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or guiding other engineers and helping them grow their skills.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks with React, Vue.js, or Angular. (React preferred)
• Experience troubleshooting HTML, JavaScript, and CSS issues.
• Experience with MS SQL and Postgres.
• Experience with Visual Studio Tooling.
• Experience with code versioning tools, such as GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated build products like Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Experience building features or internal tools on top of LLMs (e.g., Claude or OpenAI APIs, agents, retrieval-augmented generation).
• Experience with accounting practices
• Experience with creating and maintaining RESTful micro services.
• Experience working in an agency environment with multiple clients.
• Strong testing and quality assurance ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface directly with clients.
• Ability to thrive in an independent environment.

Bachelor's degree (or close to graduating or equivalent work experience) in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Analysis or similar.
