Studio Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Fareham studio for a Temporary Studio Assistant. This is a fixed-term maternity cover position for 9 months, with the possibility of an extension depending on business needs.

The role is for a minimum of 15 hours per week, working on a rolling 4-week rota. Flexibility is required to work a range of shifts, including days and evenings, with a requirement to work at least one weekend per month. Additional shifts may also be available to cover holidays and absence.

As a Studio Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of the studio by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and assisting with sales and stock replenishment. You’ll work closely with the Studio Manager and team to ensure the studio is welcoming, safe and operating smoothly at all times.

What we are looking for:

Essential

• Previous customer-facing experience
• English GCSE or equivalent qualification / demonstrable communication skills
• Experience working towards a goal or target, demonstrated through previous roles or education
• Ability to attend mandatory training
• Examples of good time management
• Motivation to succeed and take on new challenges
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including at least one weekend per month as part of the rolling 4-week rota

Desirable

• Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
• Experience or interest in the health and beauty industry
• Experience cleaning and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
