This role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes through deep expertise in operational risk management, safety, and operational improvement within the Power & Utilities sector across Latin America. You will play a key role in leading technical workstreams, solving complex operational challenges, and helping clients strengthen resilience and performance.
This is an opportunity to work closely with senior client stakeholders while contributing to meaningful transformation programmes across the Latin America region.

Responsibilities

Lead technical or specialist workstreams within consulting engagements

Deliver operational risk management, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- →
Facilitate workshops, assessments, and stakeholder discussions with clients
- →
Analyse operational risks, systems, and improvement opportunities across industrial environments

Support the design and implementation of practical and sustainable improvement solutions

Mentor and support junior consultants and project teams
- →
Contribute to capability development, methodologies, and knowledge sharing across dss+

Support proposal development and client engagement activities across the region
You will contribute to consulting engagements, supporting the delivery of transformation programmes across operational risk management.
Working closely with project teams and clients, you will play a key role in analysing challenges, structuring solutions, and supporting implementation to deliver measurable impact.
Support the delivery of consulting engagements across Power & Utilities projects
Work on business assessments and implementation programmes, contributing to high-quality delivery
Build trusted relationships with clients, supporting senior stakeholders and account teams
Participate in problem identification, analysis, and development of practical solutions
Support the structuring of frameworks, methodologies, and recommendations
Contribute to risk management discussions, helping identify and assess operational risks
Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams across projects
Stay up to date with new technologies, analytical tools, and industry trends
Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and approaches

You bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments. You are comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes.
Experience in management consulting or relevant industry environment
Deep expertise in Operational Risk Management / HSE within an industrial environment
Experience working with client teams and contributing to project delivery
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to contribute to structured problem-solving and solution development
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work in multicultural teams
Adaptable and able to thrive in fast-paced consulting environments
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related safety field
Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus
Willingness to travel and work at client sites as required
