Context Global seeks motivated hearing ASL interpreters to work as flex-time freelance interpreters.

Responsibilities

ASL Interpreting:

• Provide effective communication facilitation between multiple parties, working to and from ASL and English
• Understand cultural and linguistic differences between communities and respond accordingly

Expectations

• Submit time sheets, invoices, and paperwork on time and as required
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct

Requirements

• Fluency in American Sign Language and English Voicing
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or lower degree with experience
• Strong involvement in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community
• Self-motivated and well organized
