Come join a growing financial technology company that’s leading the marketplace in both the marketing and servicing of credit cards! Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to join our Technology team.

The Data Reporting Analyst is responsible for CFC’s business intelligence, reporting, and analytics functions. The role develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and data solutions using Snowflake, Tableau, SQL Server, and related technologies. Through these tools, the analyst delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights that support operational, marketing, collections, customer journey, and other core business functions.

This role builds out CFC's key operational data processes, including campaign reporting, outbound communication strategies, and data exchange activities with CFC’s banking and credit card processing platforms, including the Fiserv Optis system. Working closely with business stakeholders and technology teams, the Data Reporting Analyst helps define reporting requirements, improve data quality, and establish consistent measurement practices across the organization. The role contributes to data-informed decision making and supports the continued growth of CFC’s analytics capabilities through reporting standards, data governance, and business intelligence best practices.

Essential Functions

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Snowflake, SQL, and other reporting technologies to provide timely, accurate, and actionable business insights.
  • Analyze business, operational, customer, and portfolio data to identify trends, measure performance, evaluate business outcomes, and provide meaningful insights across CFC’s various lines of business.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, define key performance metrics, and translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions that support organizational objectives.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data by validating data sources, investigating discrepancies, supporting data quality initiatives, and promoting standardized business metric definitions.
  • Collaborate with technology, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support analytics implementations, data collection strategies, reporting enhancements, and the effective use of data across the organization.
  • Communicate analytical findings, trends, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, reports, presentations, and data visualizations that support data-driven decision making.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CFC’s reporting and analytics capabilities by enhancing data quality, reporting processes, governance standards, business metrics, and business intelligence best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, or a related role or project.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with enterprise data platforms, including Snowflake, SQL Server, or similar technologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau or other business intelligence tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting data quality, reporting governance, metric standardization, or business intelligence best practices is preferred. Experience within financial services, fintech, lending, banking, or credit card operations is a plus.
