Product Manager

Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Product Manager to support our Information Technology team.

The Product Manager is responsible for working with the business to define the product vision and roadmap. The Product Manager will review, groom, and prioritize user stories to ensure that the SCRUM team is delivering the right features to realize the product vision. We are a fast-paced and rapidly growing company looking for team members that are self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects and drive initiatives to successful completion.

Essential Functions:

• Develop the roadmap and strategic plan for software and technology products that are critical for the company’s success.
• Understand the needs of the customers and the business and use that knowledge to design products that deliver a world class customer experience.
• Work with SCRUM team members to ensure that user stories are well understood and prioritized correctly to meet the objectives of the business.
• Work with the business and BSAs on backlog grooming, feature definition and acceptance criteria.
• Actively promote the development of new products and features based on ongoing market and industry research.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager working with an Agile SCRUM development team.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering a world class customer experience.
• Team player who is self-motivated and proactive. Willing to take ownership to drive projects to completion.
