Day-to-day:

Running door jambs in preparation for assembly
Pulling orders of door slabs in preparation for assembly
Wrapping finished product on skids in prep for job site delivery
Cut casing for door entry ways for our customers.
Proficient experience with miter/circular saws, drills, and routers
Run and operate our Norfield Door line and “Magnum” machine for special jobs.
Learn and become proficient in all steps of our door production process.
Keep a clean work area.
Adhere to safety rules set forth by Contract Lumber/OSHA
Assemble Double doors using precise measurements and customer requests.

Skill Set:

Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions and procedures.
Ability to read/write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Detail oriented, timeliness and an efficiency-based approach.
Team player, strong communicator, and advanced interpersonal skills.
Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet varied and conflicting organization demands.
Working knowledge of materials and job-site processes used within the construction industry.
