ControlUp is a leader in Digital Employee Experience (DEX), evolving IT operations with agentic AI to deliver Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) and a digital workspace that runs itself.

Our platform transforms millions of real-time signals into intelligent action, bridging the gap between deep visibility and automated remediation. We turn "IT headaches" and employee frustration into self-healing operations, allowing organizations to move beyond reactive troubleshooting toward a future where technology works seamlessly in the background.

We’re here to ensure the workday runs without disruptions. No tool sprawl, no wasted time, and no friction. Just technology that works for people, not against them, so they can stay focused on what they do best.

One platform. One powerful shift in how work flows.

The Role
ControlUp for VDI is where our reputation was built - and it remains a core pillar of ControlUp ONE. It streams 1,500+ metrics at three-second intervals across sessions, hosts, storage, networks, gateways, and client devices, with deep native integrations for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud/DaaS, Omnissa Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop, and Parallels RAS.

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the next chapter of that product: keeping our real-time depth unmatched while bringing agentic AI, automation, and proactive remediation into the virtual desktop world.
This role is for someone who has lived in EUC - who knows why a logon takes 90 seconds, what a broker actually does, and why "it's slow" is the hardest ticket in IT. You'll work with customers who are among the most technical in our base and who will tell you exactly what's wrong. Your job is to turn that into a product they love, not just tolerate.
  • Own the ControlUp for VDI roadmapend to end - discovery, definition, delivery, and adoption - as an integrated part of the ControlUp ONE platform
  • Go deep with customers and the community. Run discovery with VDI and EUC admins, join escalations, and translate raw operational pain into prioritized product decisions
  • Define how AI shows up in VDI.Partner with the Pulse AI team to bring anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and automated remediation to virtual desktop workloads
  • Own the ecosystem.Track platform and API changes across Citrix, Omnissa, Microsoft AVD, Parallels, and the hypervisor layer (Broadcom/VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft, XenServer), and make sure we're ready before our customers are
  • Lead competitive and market analysisin DEX, VDI monitoring, and endpoint management - and turn it into differentiation, not feature parity
  • Write clear, testable requirementsand detailed specs, and stay close to Dev and QA through the entire cycle
  • Own product quality and reliability as a first-class outcome, including upgrade experience, backward compatibility, and how we handle customer-reported defects
  • Drive go-to-marketwith Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Support - enablement, positioning, launch, and adoption tracking
  • Make decisions with evidence.Use telemetry, usage data, and customer feedback to test hypotheses and iterate
  • Proven product management experience at a product company in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or endpoint management
  • Hands-on familiarity with VDI/DaaS and EUC- Citrix, Omnissa Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or equivalent - and an understanding of what IT teams actually do all day
  • Strong technical background: comfortable discussing APIs, agents, telemetry, and system architecture with engineers as a peer
  • Track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategy
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Dev, QA, Sales, and Sales Engineering
  • Confident decision-making and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without authority
  • Strong data literacy and a habit of making data-driven decisions
  • Genuine passion for product design and user experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Nice to Have:
  • Experience with DEX, observability, or monitoring products
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-driven product capabilities, agentic workflows, or automation platforms
  • Background as an IT/EUC practitioner or consultant before moving into product
  • Experience with an active technical community or open script/automation ecosystem
  •
