As the District Medical Director for Maine, you will serve as a key clinical leader responsible for driving clinical excellence, provider engagement, and district performance across our urgent care locations. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and partnering closely with the District Director of Operations (DO), you will help align clinical strategy with operational execution, ensuring our clinics consistently deliver high-quality, efficient, and value-based care. - Participate in shared weekend on-call schedules and regular clinic visits
- Experienced urgent care or emergency room clinician: Licensed MD, DO, PA, or NP with at least 5 years of urgent care or emergency room experience, confident treating patients of all ages and managing a wide range of acute conditions in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative clinical leader: Partners effectively with operational leaders and fellow providers to drive strong clinical outcomes, align teams around shared goals, and support district performance.
- Provider mentor and coach: Passionate about developing others, providing thoughtful feedback, conducting chart reviews, and supporting providers in strengthening both clinical care and documentation.
- Proactive and confident communicator (written and verbal): Foreshadows and elevates concerns as they arise, unafraid of professional directness both with colleagues and patients.
- Data-driven decision maker: Comfortable analyzing KPIs, operational metrics, and clinical performance data to identify trends and implement improvement plans that strengthen quality and efficiency.
- Champion of clinical excellence: Deeply knowledgeable about clinical best practices, compliance standards, and value-based care, ensuring providers deliver safe, consistent, high-quality care.

- Operationally savvy healthcare professional: Understands the intersection of clinical care, coding, documentation, and clinic operations, ensuring teams operate efficiently while maintaining high standards.
- Tech-comfortable and adaptable: Confident using tools such as Microsoft Office, PowerBI, and EMR systems like DocuTAP to review data, communicate insights, and support operational and clinical improvements.
