The Accounting Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing core accounting functions in a small, dynamic team environment. This role requires a balance of leadership and execution, with direct involvement in day-to-day accounting activities and process improvements. The Accounting Manager partners closely with leadership, other accounting teams, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financials and support business decisions. |
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Ensure journal entries for the month end and year end close process are timely and accurate
- →Ownership and reconciliation of various intercompany relationships
- →Review balance sheet account reconciliations for monthly compliance
- →Monitor and analyze variances and trends within certain accounts, cost centers, and entities
- →Support AP, Financial Reporting, Tax, and Regulatory colleagues with requests
- →Assist with external audit requests
- →Work cross-functionally with colleagues in Treasury, Finance, Internal Audit, and Business
- →Design and documentation of procedures
- →Identify and drive process improvements and optimization
- →Work on and lead projects as required
- →Supervise, mentor and develop staff; provide feedback, establish goals, and serve as a role model for company values
- →Some overtime will be required
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of progressive financial accounting experience
- Prior experience managing or supervising staff
- CPA, Public Accounting, or large company experience preferred
- Strong familiarity with US GAAP
- Proven experience with large ERP and/or Settlement systems, Oracle Cloud / a plus
- International accounting experience preferred
- Expert analytical skills, organizational, and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid systems skills including advanced Excel and Word.
- Experience working in a complex multi-currency accounting environment / a plus
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools, automation, or emerging technologies in finance / a plus

What We Offer

- Supervisar, mentorizar y desarrollar al equipo; brindar retroalimentación, establecer objetivos y actuar como modelo de los valores de la empresa
- Se requerirán horas extra en ocasiones
- Inglés fluido
- Licenciatura en Contabilidad o Finanzas
- Más de 8 años de experiencia progresiva en contabilidad financiera
- Experiencia previa gestionando o supervisando personal
- CPA, experiencia en firma contable (Public Accounting) o en empresas grandes (preferido)
- Fuerte conocimiento de US GAAP
- Experiencia comprobada con sistemas ERP grandes y/o sistemas de liquidación, Oracle Cloud (deseable)
- Experiencia en contabilidad internacional (preferido)
- Habilidades analíticas avanzadas, organizativas y de resolución de problemas
- Alta atención al detalle y precisión
- Excelentes habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal
- Sólidas habilidades en sistemas, incluyendo Excel avanzado y Word
- Experiencia en entornos contables complejos con múltiples monedas (deseable)
- Capacidad para gestionar múltiples prioridades y plazos en un entorno dinámico
- Familiaridad con herramientas impulsadas por IA, automatización o tecnologías emergentes en finanzas (deseable)
