Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Configure and install software on desktops and laptops for IT users.
- →Assist in the installation and rollout of new software packages and desktop hardware upgrades.
- →Maintain desktop software and hardware; support mobile workforce needs.
- →Provide Tier 2 support for basic software and hardware issues related to end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems.
- →Troubleshoot problems using provided scripts and checklists, escalating to Tier 3 support when needed.
- →Document problems and resolutions for future reference.
- →Participate in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implement prototypes.
- →Deliver end-user training as necessary.
- →Coordinate with project teams and follow documented procedures and checklists.
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, technical institute degree/certificate, or equivalent work experience.
- 0 to 1 year of IT work experience, with a working knowledge of basic hardware and software products and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to function independently under the direction of a senior technician or supervisor/manager.
- Experience in maintaining and supporting client products, peripherals, network, and handling physical moves is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
